Lion Lindy Wipf introduced his guest, Fred Balleweg, who is definitely planning to join the Vermillion Lions club. Lion Jack Doyle announced that the annual fall Lions Pancake Days (Oct. 19, 20) held at the National Guard Armory was a most successful event with 766 people in attendance.

The speaker for the evening meeting, Jennifer Hovland, Heartland Home Care, Inc., was introduced by Lion Christopherson. Handouts from Hovland helped to inform members present about this in-home care provider, which serves areas in both South Central Nebraska and South East South Dakota.
