Brown is a native of Wakonda, and attended the University of South Dakota-Springfield. She has completed various bank-related programs and seminars over her 30 years in the banking industry, with the last 15 years primarily spent in mortgage and consumer lending.
Brown has been with First Dakota since October, 2002 serving as a real estate officer. In her new position, she will serve First Dakota customers with their lending needs in the areas of real estate and consumer loans.
Brown has lived in Vermillion for over 28 years and participates in many community services. She is active in the Vermillion real estate community and is an affiliate of the Lewis & Clark Board of Realtors. She is an Ambassador for the Vermillion Chamber of Commerce, a member of St. Agnes parish, Vermillion High School Booster Club and The Bluff's Golf Course.
She resides in Vermillion with her husband, Danny. They have two sons; Derrick (23) a graduate of the University of South Dakota, currently attending grad school, and Tyler (20) a student at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.
