Sebesta receives education honor

In honor of American Education Week Nov. 13-19, the Vermillion Southeast Retired Teachers paid tribute to Judith Sebesta for her commitment and dedication to helping children in education.

Sebesta volunteers her time in the classroom at the Vermillion Middle School. She has been coming into the sixth grade social studies classes for several years. She stays for all the five classes and makes a presentation during the ancient Rome unit.

She portrays someone from that era and makes ancient times come alive for the students.

Pat Anderson, Vermillion Middle School principal, speaks highly of her volunteer service to the school system. Sebesta was re- commended by Joyce Zimmer, sixth grade social studies teacher at the Middle School.
