It was a beautiful day on Nov. 8 with 32 seniors out for a good time. A lot of birdies were made today for a total of nine out of the 11 teams.
The team with high honors and low score was Vern Holter, Van Pierce and Quentin Oleson. (They claimed two of the birdies).
Second place was a 36 score by Don Baer, Lloyd Helseth and Tim O'Connor, followed by another 36 by Harlan Schott, Jim Reed and Maurice Erickson.
A two-man team came next with a 38 � Jerry Sommervold and Cleland Cook.
Winners at 39 were the teams of Dave Raabe, Ted Van Bruggen and Cal Petersen, along with Jim Stewart, Jack Stewart and Louie Fostvedt following closely.
One winner at 40 was Dave Bak, Joe Conroy and Guy Button.
Several birdie putts were made at 20 and 30 feet, but the shot of the day goes to Elmer Mount for a 58-foot birdie putt on #9.
Howard says the weather will still be good next Tuesday and the golf should be great, so come on out to The Bluffs by 1 p.m.
