USD swept by UNO
The South Dakota women's volleyball team (8-15, 2-6 NCC) was swept in three games for the eighth time this season, as they fell to 24th-ranked Nebraska-Omaha (17-6, 8-1 NCC), 3-0 (30-10, 30-20, 30-21) at the Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse in Omaha, NE, Oct. 29.

It was the first time this season that the Coyotes were held to a negative hitting percentage, as they hit -.043 with 22 kills, 26 errors in 94 total attempts.

Conversely, the Mavericks hit .337 with 48 kills and 16 errors in 95 attempts.

USD had three blocks and two aces in the match and was limited to 22 assists and 27 digs. UNO tallied eight aces, nine blocks, with 44 assists and 39 digs.

South Dakota senior Kristen Miller (Papillion, NE) led the team with eight kills. Setter Ashley Gross, a sophomore from Norfolk, NE, totaled 10 assists, while freshman Amber Kobus (Columbus, NE) led the way with eight digs.
