The Coyote men's team (5-1) defeated Colorado College, 148-42; Colorado School of Mines, 148-74; Metro State, 124-79; and dropped a 138-80 decision to Division I Denver.
The Coyote women's team (5-1) defeated Colorado College, 156-68; Colorado School of Mines, 162-66; Metro State, 162-43; and lost to Denver University, 122-100. Both the USD men's and women's teams won both relays (200 Medley and 200 Free). Overall, USD had six individual or relay victories.
The South Dakota women's team had four first-place and seven second-place finishes at the meet. Leita Rolfe of Newcastle, WY, Stacie Bjorlie of Austin, MN, and Megan Gordon of Grand Rapids, MN, all were responsible for two wins during competition on Saturday. Rolfe, Bjorlie and Gordon were all members of the victorious 200 medley relay, which clocked a 1:52.37.
In the individual events, Gordon won the 100 backstroke in 1:00.16 while Rolfe took first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.45 and she was second in the 200 IM in 2:14.77. Bjorlie was also a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay and took second in the 50 freestyle in 25.29. Brianna Wass of Douglas, WY, finished second in both the 200 freestyle in 2:02.13 and 100 freestyle in 56.24.
Mary Holman of Bloomington, MN, was second in the 1,650 freestyle in 19:14.95. Jill Smolczyk of Omaha, NE, finished second in the 1M diving competition with 217.30 points and was third in 3M diving with 225.35 points. Erin Wagoner of Newcastle WY, was a member of the victorious 200 freestyle relay and was second in the 100 butterfly in 1:02.31.

Led by Pat Albertson of Bozeman, MT, the South Dakota men's team won both the 200 medley relay (1:40.05) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:30.86). Albertson also captured second-place in the 100 butterfly (53.23). USD also had two other second-place finishes in individual events, including John Murman of Lincoln, NE, who clocked a 21.88 in the 50 freestyle, and Kyle Anderson of Portland, OR, who had a time of 18:15.50 in the 1,650 freestyle.
