Sophomore Leita Rolfe of Newcastle, WY, led the Coyotes to the win with a pair of individual titles in the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.30 and the 400 freestyle in 4:47.88.
Jill Smolczyk of Omaha, NE, also was a double winner by capturing both the 1M and 3M diving competitions. She recorded scores of 235.80 in the 1M and 230.50 in the 3M diving competitions.
USD's 200 medley relay clocked a winning time of 2:05.69 with a team of Erin Wagoner (Newcastle, WY), Jessica Tietz (Williston, ND), Monica Mayer (Bloomington, MN) and Louree Houston (Omaha, NE).
Sara Holman of Bloomington, MN, won the 800 freestyle in 9:54.41, with her sister Mary Holman of Bloomington, MN, taking second in 9:54.83.
Freshman Mary Klima of Leavenworth, KS, captured the 200 freestyle in 2:16.90 and finished second in the 100 butterfly in 1:11.12.
Senior Brianna Wass of Douglas, WY, won the 100 backstroke in 1:12.54, just ahead of teammate Jenny Kohlbrand of Newcastle, WY, who had a clocking of 1:12.76. Kohlbrand, a sophomore, also picked up an individual win by taking the 100 freestyle in 1:03.00.
USD senior Brae Olson of Hutchinson, MN, won the 200 butterfly in 2:36.30. Another individual winner for the Coyotes was freshman Stacy Bjorlie of Austin, MN, who captured the 50 freestyle in 28.66. Sophomore Megan Gordon of Grand Rapids, MN, won the 200 backstroke in 2:29.69.
Next for the USD swimming and diving teams is a trip to Omaha, NE, for the Mutual of Omaha Invitational on Dec. 2-3.
