Individual stats: Michelle Olson accounted for 14 passes, 29 attacks, 13 kills, 8 digs, 8 service points. Also leading the way offensively was Kinsey Weydert who produced 18 set assists. She also had 15 digs, and 13 SP (2 aces); Ariel Hofman contributed 11 P, 16 D; Nicole Orr � 11 P, 4 D; Paige Prosser � 11 P, 10 D, 5 SP; Krista Froke � 20 A, 4 K, 4 D, 4 SP; Alicia Brown had 5 P, 17 A, 3 B, and 12 D along with 14 SP and 1 ace; Brittney Babb � 5 P, 8 A, 2 K, 5 B, 6 D, 6 SP; Brittni Stewart � 4 P, 16 A, 2 K, 6B.
Coach Lenni Billberg indicated disappointment in the loss but praised the effort in a very close three-game match.
JV score: 13-25, 23-25. Significant individual B team stats were: Raychel Lorenz � 9 assists, 1 D, 2 SP, 1 ace; DeNell Dykstra � 4 A, 2 K; Stacey Joy � 10 P, 3 D; Brittany Bye � 1 B, 6 D; Kristina Blythe � 11 D; Rachel Odens � 7A, 10 D.
Freshman score: 23 � 25, 19 � 25. Individual stats: Sara Kjose � 7 set assists; Kayla Gale � 7 kills, 7 digs, 1 ace; Angie Christensen � 1 blocks, 1 ace, 11 digs; Brianna Brinkman � 11 digs, 1 block, 5 kills; Justine Sorensen and Kelsey Osborn each had an ace.
"The girls improved immensely this season. Each player improved themselves, individually, but more importantly, they improved as a complete team," coach Bakke said. "This was a great group of girls and I enjoyed working with them."
The varsity team's season record is 10-12.
