Dalesburg church plans St. Lucia festival Dec. 11

The Dalesburg Scandinavian Association takes pleasure in announcing the 29th annual celebration of the St. Lucia Tradition. This traditional Swedish festival has long been associated with the Christmas Season. The public is cordially invited to attend the festival, which is sponsored by the Dalesburg Scandinavian Association.

It will be held Sunday, Dec. 11, at 4 p.m. at Dalesburg Lutheran Church, 30595 University Road, north of Vermillion.

The church is twelve miles north of Vermillion on University Road, or five miles west of Exit 38 on I-29.

There will be a Scandinavian program and Scandinavian food. There is no charge for attendance, but a freewill offering is welcome.
