Eagles fall to Huskies in 2005 home opener

The I-W Eagles girls' basketball team opened its season by playing the Bridgewater-Emery Huskies on Tuesday, Dec 6 in Wakonda. The Eagles lost to the Huskies, 66-46.

Senior Andrea Bakke was the leading scorer for the Eagles with 10 points and she also had two assists. Jessica Bartscher led the Huskies with 21 points and five steals.

Pam Kathol, senior from Irene-Wakonda, had the most rebounds with five and also was the top stealer with two for the Eagles.

Jessica Bartscher and Virginia Langle each had six rebounds for the Huskies.
