Nielsen will perform Dec. 4

For the past four years, Kayla Nielsen has rocked the Wakonda area with Christmas music, both old and new, to benefit the Toys-for-Tots charity. Kayla is currently attending South Dakota State University, but never turns down are chance to help out those in need.

The event will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church of Wakonda, on Sunday, Dec 4 at 7 p.m.

With the community's help, Nielsen hopes she can help those in need.

"I can't even remember how I got started doing this concert, but the reason I keep doing it is because of the support I receive every year from the community. Through Toys-4-Tots, this concert has put presents under the trees of hundreds of children because of the generosity of others.

"I feel like I can use my talents to give back to this community that has given me so much over the years," she said.
