Favorites such as I'm Your Venus, Stayin' Alive, and Thriller will be performed, as well as medleys of music from Madonna, The Backstreet Boys, and the movie Grease.
Each class will perform a small-group dance, and juniors Kaili Johnson and BreAnn Lueders will perform solo dances. Senior Nancy Abbott will perform a duet with guest dancer, Holly Ehresmann, a senior at Yankton High School.
In addition to music from past and present decades, the Dance Inferno will be performing routines previously seen at VHS football games this fall. Specialty dances to Christmas music and the Dance Inferno's own "glow dance" will be performed.
Assistant VHS Dance Inferno coach Meganne Hovden, a VHS graduate and current member of UDance, has choreographed many of the dances. Teri Bellis taught the Dance Inferno famous moves from the 1970s and choreographed a dance medley with such moves as "the bump" and "the hustle."
In addition, the high school dancers choreographed a number of the works to be performed.
