The Tanager varsity finished first, scoring 116.90 points, while SFR had 109.10 and West Central scored 97.45.

"We still had a number of falls on beam, but our confidence is growing with each outing," said coach Mark Upward. "It's early in the season as far as competition goes, but when the regular season is half over, we can't wait much longer to pull together.
"Our JV performed very well for their first outing," Upward added. "It's fun to watch the younger gymnasts learn new skills and then get a chance to compete in them."
Elizabeth Clayborne is the new assistant coach for the Tanager gymnastics team. She is a former O'Gorman gymnast and is currently a USD student.
