Wakonda School Board meets Dec. 12

The regular Wakonda School Board meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. in the Family and Consumer Sciences Room. After approving the agenda, minutes of the November regular meeting, the financial reports, and the bills, the following agenda items will be discussed:

? Upcoming meetings and special school events.

? Administrative reports.

? SDCS, Alliance, legislative, and insurance reports.

? Approve bus fuel quote.

? Approve heating fuel oil.

? Assistant track coach resignation and replacement.

? Junior high boys basketball position.

? School cook resignation.

? Review calendar and four day week for 2006-2007.

? Need for a structural engineer to inspect the old building.

? Discuss setting up a reorganization plan between Wakonda and Irene School Districts.

? Set the 2006 school board election date and appoint election workers and

? Other miscellaneous items may be added to the agenda.

The public is invited to attend all school board meetings.
