"Arthritis is the leading cause of disability, and accounts for huge health care costs in the United States. We'll give tips for treating rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and answer viewer's questions," said On Call producer and host Lindsey Meyers.
Meyers and On Call medical editor Dr. Rick Holm explore the issues with guest Dr. James Eckhoff from the Sioux Valley Clinic.
"We'll talk to a patient with rheumatoid arthritis who experienced years of pain, and find out what she's done to ease her pain. We'll also find out if the weather really does affect arthritis in joints. And we'll talk to a physical therapist about movements that can relieve arthritis pain in hands."
