Brown Bag Supper Buzz Sessions planned

Make plans now to attend two area trainings on leadership and mentorship sponsored by the USD Head Start Pre-Birth to Five Program and the SDSU Cooperative Extension service. These free Brown Bag Supper Buzz Sessions will give you the tools to work positively with youths.

The sessions will be held in Vermillion and Lennox from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will need to attend one of each topic session. Dates and the topics to be discussed are as follows:

• Leadership Buzz Session � Monday, Jan. 23, at the 4-H Center in Vermillion or Monday, Jan. 30, at the First English Lutheran Church in Lennox. Subjects to be focused on within the leadership area will be conflict resolution, communication skills and positive youth development.
  
• Mentorship Buzz Session � Monday, Feb. 6, at the 4-H Center in Vermillion or Monday, Feb. 13, at the First English Lutheran Church in Lennox. Under the mentorship training, participants will be discussing roles of the mentor, sensitivity training, group building and tying it all together.
