Areas of concentration for the membership drive will be worked on; posters will be reminding folks that it is time to renew or join.
The club annually spends more than $3,000 in promoting the town and school as well as making efforts to improve and support our community. Dues are $5 per individual and may be paid at the First Premier bank.

In other business, Eric Hohman, interim bank officer, was introduced. Hohman placed emphasis on the fact that First Premier is committed to Wakonda and will be securing a replacement for Jim Nielsen.
Reports were received from the school and Heritage Manor and the Clay County Sheriff's Office. The Blood Bank drive which followed the monthly meeting was strongly emphasized. The Blood Bank reported that it was a very encouraging day, as their goal for the day was reached!!
A part of the sheriff's report was that the "Drug Free" signs are here and will be erected in the proper locations.
In other business, club members were reminded of the annual lunch/bake sale event which will be held on Saturday prior to Easter, April 15.
