Highway Patrol plans checkpoints in area Feb. 12-18

South Dakota Highway Patrol will be holding sobriety checkpoints during the week of Feb. 12-18 in Clay County.

In addition to detecting alcohol or drug impaired drivers, sobriety checkpoints are used to remind the motoring public of the dangers of drinking and driving.
