Logue, a junior at Wakonda, judged horses, some of the best she's ever seen. She placed fifth high in halter class judging, 17th high in performance class judging, and 23rd overall.
Logue, a member of the Yankton County Horse Quiz Bowl Team, earned the trip to Denver at the State 4-H Horse Show in Huron, where she placed second. The top four individuals represented South Dakota in the National Western Round Up judging contest.

While in Colorado, Logue also toured the state's second largest city, Colorado Springs. In addition, she visited the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and the U.S. Professional Rodeo Hall of Fame.
Logue was accompanied by her judging coach and four other students from around the state.
"It was a good trip with really long bus rides. I learned a lot and hope to go again sometime in another area," Logue said.
