Rhythm in Red's competition season fast approaching
Vermillion High School's Rhythm in Red has been busy for the past four months preparing for their upcoming competition season. They will be competing at many local competitions around the area. Singers and dancers include: Nick Amundson, Allison Beeman, Chris Bellis, Jennie Bellis, Matt Clark, Dru Daniels, Dan Davies, Michael Den-dinger, DJ Donahoe, Mike Feddersen, Glen Foltz, Kayla Gale, Anna Geis, Amanda Granaas, CJ Harden, Jadee Hofer, Emily Holoch, Shannon Jepsen, Kaili Johnson, Tia Krier, BreAnn Lueders, Grant Lueders, AJ Manning, Molly Manning, Chris Merrigan, Justus Meyer, Leah Miller, Lindsay Morecraft, Carly Mulder, Philip Munkvold, Stacey Munkvold, Meagan O'Connor, Hannah Pommersheim, Paige Prosser, Sarah Rasmussen, Gabby Richard, Ben Rogge, Katrina Salitros, Matt Sand, Shanon Skillman, Stephanie Taylor, Tyler Thedorff, Tony Thomas, Jade VanKley, Jessa Waters, and Christina Wellsfry. Show Band include � April Sun (sax), Amanda Zalud (sax), Matt Riviere (trumpet), Amanda Yockey (trombone), Molly Woodard (synthesizer), Anthony Rath (bass), Jordan Merrigan (guitar) and Tom Pearson (drums). The group is directed by Kristin Iverson and John Alpers and choreographed by Teri Bellis, Trisha Fisher and Kaili Johnson.

USD's Coyote Jazz Festival (Slagle Auditorium, USD campus) � Tuesday, Mar. 14 (TBA).

Mitchell's Show Choir Classic (Mitchell) � Friday, Mar. 17 (TBA).

Music in our Schools Month Concert (VHS Auditorium) � Monday, Mar. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Washington's Best of Show Competition (Sioux Falls) � Saturday, Apr. 1 (TBA).

VHS Jazz Night (VHS Auditorium) � Friday, Apr. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
