Wells Fargo scholarship application deadline looms

The deadline for high school seniors to submit Wells Fargo Community Scholarship Fund applications is Jan. 12, 2006.

Applications may be dropped off at Wells Fargo Bank N.A. in Vermillion.

Wells Fargo Community Scholarship Fund applications are available from high school guidance counselors or at any local Wells Fargo store. Winners are selected by a local, independent panel of judges.

Across the region, a total of 74 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who display leadership in their schools and their communities. Each applicant has the added incentive of earning $1,000 for their local school by participating in the essay portion of the scholarship application.

Wells Fargo has 92 stores in North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota and employs more than 4,400 team members throughout the region.
