"The Beautiful Neighbor" Award is presented to a business, government entity, fraternal organization or other non-single family property that make an outstanding effort to beautify their building or property.
"We are so lucky to have more and more organizations and businesses that are interested in making Vermillion beautiful and livable. Sometimes it's difficult to pick just one winner," said VB president Judy Clark.

Past winners are Super 8 Motel, Vermillion Post Office and Pressing Matters Printing.
Also nominated this year for the 2005 award were Cor-Trust Bank and Vermillion Federal Credit Union. Nominations from the public are invited.
The "Beautiful Neighbor" Award presentation kicks off the annual direct mail fund raiser for the Vermillion Beautiful organization. The campaign is the only fund raiser Vermillion Beautiful conducts, and donations raised through it buy the flowers, bushes and trees planted in the community.
