Nathan Boots, son of Peggy and David Boots, Vermillion, was named to the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, fall semester 2005 dean's list.
Students named to the dean's list are recognized for outstanding academic achievement by earning a 3.67 grade point average or higher in 12 or more A/F credits for the semester.
The Carlson School undergraduate curriculum has gained national attention for its balance of liberal arts and communications and its emphasis on management disciplines. The bachelor of science in business degree requires two years of liberal arts education, followed by two years of upper division course work.
Boots, a 2004 graduate of Vermillion High School, is a sophomore in the Carlson School of Management majoring in actuarial science.
