Ellwanger named SVVMC PRIDE Employee of Month

Naomi Ellwanger, RN at Sioux Valley Vermillion Hospital, was selected as the Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center (SVVMC) January 2006 PRIDE Employee of the Month.

Ellwanger has been employed at SVVMC since January 2001.

"Naomi provided excellent care for our sick child ? was very understanding and cheerful," said the family member of a patient in the nomination for Ellwanger.

"Naomi is an excellent nurse who is caring and compassionate," said Robin Huether, director of nursing, Sioux Valley Vermillion Hospital.

Ellwanger and her husband Brad have two children and reside in rural Beresford. She is a native of Burke.
