USD presents the 12th Annual Genevieve Truran Piano Competition for grades 8-12 on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Colton Recital Hall, and international guest pianist Lori E. Sims in a free recital on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. also in Colton Recital Hall.
And the USD Symphony Orchestra presents their free Children's Concert on Monday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. in Slagle Auditorium.

The W. H. Over Museum is exhibiting American Rivers "Discovering the Rivers of Lewis & Clark" with an opening reception on Saturday, March 4 at 4 p.m. catered by Buffalo Run Winery � cost is $10.
The Vermillion Artists' Cooperative Studio and the Vermillion Area Arts Council will be offering the following children's art classes at the Washington Street Arts Center beginning Saturday, March 18 through May 6 � An Introduction to Art (ages 4-7), Saturdays 11 to 12:30 p.m.; Beginning Ceramics (ages 7 and up), Saturdays 12:30 to 2 p.m.; Beginnning Prints (ages 7 and up), Saturdays 2 to 3:30 p.m.; Papermaking (ages 7 and up), Saturdays 4 to 5:30 p.m. Cost is $35.
