Highway Patrol plans checkpoints

The South Dakota Highway Patrol will be holding sobriety checkpoints during the week of March 5 through March 11 in Clay County. In addition to detecting alcohol or drug impaired drivers, the Highway Patrol makes use of the sobriety checkpoints to remind the motoring public of the dangers of drinking and driving.
