Kindergartners celebrate 100th day of school
It's the one day every child loves to celebrate, every high schooler loves to hear, and should become, in their opinion, a national holiday, the 100th day of school!

The Wakonda kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school with excitement was written all over their faces as they reported on what they brought to help celebrate the occasion.

Haleigh Melstad brought 100 marshmallows, while Colton Larson brought 100 chocolate chips. All they needed was the graham crackers and they'd be all set for camping.

Hope Johnson decided to stick with her candy as she brought 100 Smarties with her to school. Madison Mohr was going to get a little creative that day when she brought her 100 stickers.

Boys will be boys as Garrett Logue brought his Legos to school some things never change. Chase Voudry brought his M&Ms to school for the celebration and was really excited to start eating them, all 100 of them. Brendan Sokolowski broke the system and surprised them all, he brought noodles.

Alectra Roberts had her bag of pretzels with her as she showed them to her classmates. Last Katie Logue was going to have a blast with her 100 shapes of foam.

Over the course of the day the kindergartners did 100 activities, including getting 100 signatures from anyone in the school by the end of the day. At the end of the day, each child received, 100 pennies, badges and even crowns to celebrate this special "holiday."
