Wakonda Ministerial plans Lenten worship

The Wakonda Ministerial Association is preparing for mid-week worship services during Lent.

Each of the six churches will host a week, beginning on March 1, Ash Wednesday, at Bethel Baptist at 7:30 p.m.

A Reader's Theatre, "Seek and You Will Find," by Linda R. Tippett, will be presented featuring a new character each week.

All members of the Wakonda community and surrounding area are invited to attend these services of devotion and song as well as a time of fellowship and refreshment.

The rotation schedule is as follows:

• March 1 � 7:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church.
• March 8 � 7:30 p.m. at United Church of Christ.
• March 15 � 7:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church.
• March 22 � 7:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church.
• March 29 � 6:30 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
• April 5 � 7:30 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church.
• April 13 � 7:30 p.m., Maundy Thursday Worship and Communion at Bethel Baptist.
