Story Theatre – University Theatre presents "Story Theatre," stories from the Brothers Grimm and Aesop's Fables adapted to the stage by Paul Sills. Join us for an evening of imaginative and unpretentious delight! Story Theatre runs from March 22 through March 25 at 8 p.m., and on March 26 at 2 p.m. at the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, youth, and non-USD students, and $3 for USD students with an ID. SESDAC Benefit Auction – Join SESDAC at Buffalo Run Winery on Saturday, March 25 for a benefit auction. The gala begins with hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., silent auction closes at 8 p.m., and live auction at 8:30 p.m.
USD's Opera Workshop ensemble presents George Bizet's Doctor Miracle, a one-act comic operetta sung in an English adaptation by Donald Pippin. Alpha Xi Delta to sponsor philanthropy service event for children � The women of Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity will host a Choose Children Philanthropy Service event starting at 5 p.m., Thursday March 30, to support the South Dakota American Lung Association. The Watchful Eye Foundation from Sioux City, IA, will also be there to talk to children about safety. Special programs for children under the age of four will run from 5 to 6 p.m. The safety program for children over five will begin at 6 p.m. During the event, Alpha Xi Delta members will serve a spaghetti dinner at the Vermillion Armory from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 dollars for children, and $4 with a student ID.
Brown Bag Lunch – The National Music Museum presents music from Degas String Quartet and the Euclid String Quartet. They will be performing new work by a young American composer born in Puerto Rico in 1973. Come listen to the show at the National Music Museum on Friday, March 31 starting at 12:05 p.m. This program is free and open to the public.

Golden Easter Egg Promotion – Vermillion's 6th Annual Golden Easter Egg Hunt begins Thursday, April 6! The "Golden Egg" is hidden somewhere within the city limits of Vermillion. Meet the School Board Candidates – Join us on Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m. in the William J. Radigan Fire Hall to meet the candidates for the Vermillion School Board. Mark Bottolfson, Tom Craig, and David Stammer are vying for two positions on the school board. The election is Tuesday, April 11. The two candidates with the most votes will begin their terms this summer.
