Don and Janice Lyso, Wakonda, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Lyso, to Evan Peterson, son of Chuck and Nadeen Peterson, Wakonda.
The bride is a graduate of Wakonda Public School and Mount Marty College, and is currently a third grade teacher at Wakonda Public School.
The groom is a graduate of Wakonda Public School, and is currently an operator at Clay Rural Water and a member of the Air National Guard.
The couple is planning a May 27 wedding.
