"Johnny Cash never sang a song that people didn't like or couldn't understand," said John McNeill, who sings many of the songs in the show and weaves a commentary about Johnny Cash between numbers. He and his wife Susan, who plays bass and sings, perform regularly at Gayville Hall.
The quartet first performed the tribute after Cash's passing two-and-a-half years ago and have repeated it several times since in Gayville, Vermillion and Okoboji, IA.
