This was not the first time the Eagles and Watchdogs met this season. They met earlier and Beresford won by a mere margin of six points.
"Losing in the first round of districts was a bummer, but all great things must come to an end. Only one team ends their season with a win," said senior Ashley Anderson.
The new team didn't just have new mascots, school colors, scores, or records but it also had friendships that will last a lifetime.
Senior Tiffany Ganschow had this to say about the group of girls she played with, "I had so much fun playing with all new girls this year. I made a ton of new friends. It was a great experience and I am glad to have been on a team with those girls. I am going to miss them next year. Good luck girls!"
The Eagles finished 9-12, and 3-3 in the Tri-Valley Conference.
