The Vermillion Literary Project (VLP) invites you to celebrate Women's History Month with a special reading titled "Women's Choice(s)" on Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at the Coffee Shop Gallery, 24 W. Main Street, Vermillion.
Women academics from USD will present readings by various women authors, scholars and writers exploring reproductive rights issues.
A brief open-mic and the usual poetry slam, a competition for poets, will follow. Slam poets should bring at least three poems and prizes will be awarded to the winning slam poets. As always, the VLP featured reading and poetry slam is free and open to the public.
