S.D. Supreme Court to hold March term here

Chief Justice David Gilbertson of the South Dakota Supreme Court announced that the court will hold its March 2006 term at The University of South Dakota School of Law in Vermillion.

The court will be in session March 20-22.

The court will hear oral arguments in three cases each day commencing at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The sessions will be held in the courtroom of the School of Law. Booklets containing a schedule of the cases to be heard and a short synopsis of each case, as well as biographical information on the justices and a short summary of appellate procedure will be available for persons attending any of the court's sessions. The public is invited to atttend any of the sessions.
