Transportation topic of council

The Vermillion City Council will hold a public hearing on findings of a Vermillion Transportation Study that includes a recommendation for southeast area alternatives when it holds its regular meeting 7 p.m. March 20 in the Al Neuharth Media Center on the USD campus.

Under old business, the council will consider amendments to several city ordinances covering such topics as officers and appointments, special meetings and rules and order of business.

Under new business, the council will take action on a web site contract, acceptance of USD surplus computers and transfer of property to the Senior Center and an addendum to the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance intergovernmental contract.
