Haas' design consists of dancing turtles and will adorn the front of the 2006 Volin Turtle Races t-shirts.
T-shirts go on sale Saturday, March 18 at Volin Community Club Pancake Day at the Volin Town Hall and can also be purchased from members of the Volin Turtle Races Association.

The date for the 2006 Volin Turtle Races is June 24. The event this year will feature a parade, greased pig contest, fire department water fights, inflatable slide, horseshoe tournament, car show, turtle racing, dunk tank, craft and food vendors. Mac's pub will host live music and a dance in the evening.
Changes for 2006 include: the horseshoe contest will be expanded with additional pits; a larger variety of children's games will be offered; and a Turtle Prince and Princess contest is scheduled.
