Umpire clinic is March 12
The District VIB Baseball Umpries Spring Clinic is scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, March 12 at the Eagles in Vermillion. The Eagles is located on Main Street on the south side of the street right across from Fullerton Lumber.
Topics discussed will be:
1. Qualities of a good umpire

2. Plate work.
3. Rules knowledge.
4. Plays that create doubt.
The clinic will be conducted by District VIB Umpire Randy Bertram.
