Wakonda board meets March 13

The regular Wakonda School Board meeting will be held on Monday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in the Family and Consumer Sciences Room. After approving the agenda, minutes of the February regular meeting, the financial reports and the bills, the following agenda items will be discussed:

1. Upcoming meetings and special school events.

2. Administrative reports.

3. SDCS, Alliance, legislative and insurance reports.

4. Amend the five-day school calender for 2006-07.

5. Shop/Band building needs.

6. Open enrollment.

7. Discuss the reorganization plan between Wakonda and Irene School Districts.

8. Discuss the fire marshal report.

9. Assistant golf coach position.

10. Staffing for 2006-07.

11. Bus contract for2006-07.

12. Drivers Education for this summer.

13. Appoint board members to local Boards of Equalization.

14. Title I budget supplement of $4,100.

15. Other miscellaneous items may be added to the agenda.

The public is invited to attend all school board meetings.
