Augustana tops USD tennis team in NCC matches

The South Dakota women's tennis team (7-12, 0-4 NCC) dropped a 5-4 decision to Augustana (5-6, 2-4, NCC) in North Central Conference action April 7 at the Four Seasons Club Sioux City, IA.

The Coyotes won three singles matches and a doubles competition. Ashley Waltman won at No. 2 singles to improve to 8-11 on the season.

Michelle Hogan claimed a victory at No. 4 singles and improved to a team-best 13-6. Rachel Kludt won at No. 5 singles and improved her record to 12-7.

Hogan and Kelli Galbraith were victorious at the No. 3 doubles and have an 11-7 record in 2006.
