Baseball team suffers 6-4 loss to Scotland
VHS played a make up postponed game versus the Scotland Highlanders on Sunday, April 23 in Scotland.

Two Tanager pitchers held the home team to only three hits, but gave up eight walks and a hit batter and suffered through four errors, in a 6-4 loss.

Each Tanager pitcher went three innings; Reid Meirkort was charged with the loss, he was relieved by John Gregg.


Line scores: Scotand � 6 runs, 3 hits, 2 err, 9 lob; Vermillion � 4 runs, 10 hits, 4 err, 13 lob.

Kyle Brunick led the Tanager offense with a 3 for 4 batting and a run scored. Paul Hammond was 1 for 4, 1 run, 1 rbi; John Gregg � 1 for 3, 1 run; Jackson Freidel � 2 for 4, 1 rbi; Eric McPherson � 1 for 4, 1 run; and Zach Weiss � 1 for 4, 1 rbi.
