The award is provided to VHS seniors who have demonstrated leadership in their classes and activities. First Bank & Trust-Vermillion will provide a $100 scholarship to each student.
Campbell "is always very pleasant and respectful. On her assignments, she goes beyond the required expectations," according to her faculty endorsement. She plans to study for a business degree in college.
Her activities include volleyball, National Honor Society, bowling, SADD, softball and Sophomore Servers. She attended the Economics Seminar for Young Adults. Her mother is Lori Whitman.
Stewart has been involved with football, track, basketball, mentoring and tutoring. His endorsement indicated that "no matter how difficult the material gets, Donny maintains a positive attitude and is a lot of fun to have in class."
He is a two-time All-State Football player and he recently signed a letter of intent to play football for The University of South Dakota Coyotes. His parents are Chuck and Noreen Stewart.
