USD junior Amanda Young (Mitchell) posted the highest finish of any Coyote this spring, as she finished fifth with a 79-77-156. Junior Karrie Plate (Vermillion) recorded a pair of 83s, to finish in a tie for 20th place with a 166.
Sophomore Kristi Tighe (Homer, NE) finished three strokes behind Plate with an 83-86-169, while junior Starr Jones (Sheldon, IA) completed the two-day tournament in a tie for 34th with an 87-75-172. Also adding to the team score was sophomore Amber Luitjens (Aberdeen) who shot an 86-89-175 to finish 39th.

North Dakota won the team title with a 318-316-634, five strokes ahead of Minnesota State. UND's Liz Kaler garnered medalist honors by shooting a six-over-par 74-76-150.
South Dakota will return to action on April 22-23, when they travel to Waseca, MN, to participate in the Minnesota State Invitational.
