Men's golf team finishes 12th at Northwest Regional Head-to-Head
The South Dakota men's golf team wrapped up its spring season with a 12th-place finish at the Northwest Regional Head-to-Head April 18 by recording a 316-317-319-952 at the 6,786-yard par-71 Firethorn Golf Course in Lincoln, NE.

Ryan Bak, a sophomore from Beresford, carded a 75-77-76-228, to finish with four other players in a tie for 17th place.

Sophomore Bryan Cahill (Huron) finished the three-round event with his third-straight 79 to record a 237 (t-40th). Jared Degen, a sophomore from Parkston, added to the team score by recording a 78-80-84-242


Freshman Brett Bennett (Sioux Falls) shot an 85-81-81-247 and freshman Matt Rantapaa (Lead) tallied an 84-87-83-254 to round out the scores for the Coyotes.

St. Cloud State and Regis tied for the team title with a 900, while SCSU's Chris Little and Chase Wortmann from Colorado-Colorado Springs shared medalist honors with a six-over-par 219.
