The walk begins at the Vermillion UCCC church parking lot and end at Prentis Park with food, music, games and treats. Proceeds will benefit local MOPS groups helping them with basic expenses and MOPS international.
MOPS' mission is to meet the needs of every mom urban, suburban and rural, stay-at-home and working moms, teen mothers of preschoolers, single and married moms all who share the desire to be the best moms they can be. MOPS supports mothers within the context of local groups that provide an atmosphere of friendship, acceptance and support. MOPS also develops leadership skills, creative activities, and em-phasizes that mothering matters.
Over 115,000 moms are currently in groups and over 3,600 groups meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly worldwide. For more information, or to make a donation directly to MOPS International, please go to www.mops.org.
