The School of Education at the University of South Dakota is conducting a summer school for children who are experiencing learning difficulties. This summer school experience includes students enrolled in school from kindergarten to 12th grade. It will run from July 10 to Aug. 3, from 12:30 to 3:20 p.m., Monday through Thursday at the Vermillion Middle School.
The cost of the session is $75 per student. In the event we have more requests than we can adequately provide for, students will be selected based on the severity of the learning problems and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The university does not provide transportation. Registration needs to be completed by May 24, so that we have time to contact your child's teacher for information related to specific learning problems that may need to be addressed during summer school.
To register, or if you have questions regarding the USD Summer School for Children with Learning Difficulties, please contact Dr. William J. Sweeney at The University of South Dakota, School of Education in Vermillion at (605) 677-5824.
