Babysitting workshop planned

Babysitting Beginnings is a workshop designed for youth ages 11-15 that have an interest in learning more about the business of babysitting. Topics will include Babysitting Responsibilities; The Business of Babysitting; Understanding Children; Fun with Children; and Sitting Safety. The cost of the workshop is $5.

Workshop dates and locations are as follows:

• May 31 at the Beresford Public Library from 2 to 4 p.m.
  
• June 1 at the Tripp City in Tripp from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
• June 1 at the Courthouse Community Room in Olivet from 2 to 4 p.m.
• June 23 at the Turner County Extension Office in Parker from 10 a.m. to noon.

  The workshops will be conducted by Amber Lounsbery, Hutchinson County Extension Educator, Lavonne Meyer, Turner County Extension Educator, and Amanda Diede, Bon Homme County Extension Educator. Lincoln County's 4-H Program Assistant, Bridget Johnson, will also assist.
