Library Activities

Step into the world of Dinostories and visit an activities exhibit through May 22. Weekly programs are scheduled with special story and craft times for toddlers and preschoolers. This exhibit is created by the Hands-On Partnership for Science, Literature, and Art in South Dakota in partnership with the SD School of Mines & Technology Discovery Center & Aquarium, Dahl Fine Arts Center, South Dakota State Library, and the Rawlins Municipal Library. Stop by on Monday, May 22 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. to learn Dino-Anatomy. Learn and share what you know about different dinosaur parts.

CLAWS, PAWS, SCALES, & TALES! Get ready for this year's summer reading program at the Vermillion Public Library. Stop by the circulation desk to register or call 677-7060 to receive more information. The Kick-Off Party starts Monday, June 5 at noon.

Young Adult Open Mic Night is coming to VPL! Participants are welcome to bring their own writings or use material available at the library. Open Mic Night is planned for Sunday, May 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the library.
