Tanagers’ golf team hosts invitational

Vermillion High School hosted an invitational meet on Friday, April 28, involving seven teams.

Final team standings were: West Central � 170; Canton � 178; Vermillion � 185; Elk Point/Jefferson � 190; BonHomme � 203; Dakota Valley � 216; and Beresford � 228.

The top 10 individuals were: Kelli Lowry (WC) � 37 (medalist � won playoff); Kelsey Larsgaard � 37; Anna Isaacson (V) � 41; Laura Leisinger (WC) � 42; Chelsea Gauer (V) � 43; Karlee Holbrock (DV) � 43; Marie Huber (C) � 44; Cara Leisinger (WC) � 44; Kayla McInerny (EP/J) � 44; and Megan Nygaard (B) � 44.

Other Tanager scores were: Paige Prosser � 47; Rachel Odens � 54; and Laura Hansen � 57.
