They faced two teams, Sioux Falls' S-Plosion and Burger King Queens in a doubleheader played at the Sherman Park softball complex in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, June 7.
They made short work in the first game as they won a shortened game 13 � 0 against the S-Plosion with Brianna Brinkman tossing a one-hitter and her teammates taking advantage of four walks and 11 hits to score enough runs to end the four inning contest.

Brinkman led the scoring explosion with three runs. Chelsea Houska went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and one RBI. Jenny Bye was 2 for 3, with two runs and two RBIs; Erica Johnson also scored two runs on 1 for 2 hitting.
Ali True went 2 for 3, including a home run, scoring one with three RBIs.
Their second scheduled game was against Burger King Queens. Jenny Bye pitched the six inning, one hit shutout on two walks and registered 10 Ks.
Sparking the 10 run outburst for the winning Stingers were Chelsea Houska �2 for 3, two runs; Ali True � 2 for 3, one run, four RBIs; Jenny Bye � 1 for 3, two runs; and Ashley Johnson � 1 for 1, two runs. Also, Kayla Munger was 1 for 1 with a run and a RBI.
