Lang finishes 15th in Black Hills marathon

Vermillion High School graduate Zebulon Lang finished 15th overall in the 2006 Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon, held Sunday, June 4 in South Dakota's Black Hills.

Lang, of Denver, CO, competing in his first marathon, completed the 26-mile, 385-yard distance in three hours, 26 minutes, 26 seconds. Scott Colford, Logansport, IN won the race in a record time of 2 hours, 40 minutes, 59 seconds. A total of 375 runners finished the race, 249 men and 126 women.

Lang is a 1999 VHS graduate and 2003 Cornell University graduate. He is the son of Dr. Marlene Jacobson, Vermillion, and Steve Lang, Alpine, TX.
